Not sure if it’s showing, but for the past few days, I’ve been struggling to keep up with Project 365. The inspiration that I had two months from now is dissipating and I consider it normal. There’s a saying that goes along the lines of “Inspiration can only get you there. Dedication is what makes you stay” I don’t remember where I heard that from, but that’s the reason why I’m sticking to this project. Of course, eventually down the road, I’ll recollect myself and break through this “artist block”.
In light of this, I decided to mess around with composite photo’s. I wanted to emphasize tonights moon and drape it over a bright night sky. The trees and hint of cottage really brings the feel of a backcountry getaway, only without all the mosquitos. Took me longer than I expected to get it the way I wanted, but after diving deep into this development, I’m glad I put the time and effort into it!
